This 11 piece hand painted nativity is made in Colombia by a group of families who are supported almost entirely by the sale of their lovingly crafted religious moldings made from ceramic and wood paste, a technique originating in Italy. The figures are finished full round, are solid, with standing figures measuring apx. 5 inches tall. The stable piece measures approximately 8 inches high and 12 inches wide. This set has wonderful detail and is an amazing value. Especially unique is the addition of the camels and grouping of sheep, pieces typically found only in nativities costing much more. As hand made items, slight variations in colors are possible, making each one truly one of a kind.
